Mr. John Schneider is the current band director. Mr. Schneider is a Polar Bear Band alumnus, class of '03. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Fairmont State University. Before returning to Fairmont Senior High School, Mr. Schneider directed the Barrackville and Fairview Middle School Bands for three years. Mr. Schneider's wife, Danielle Schneider, works as the Director of Operations at Regional Eye Associates. She is a is also a Polar Bear Band alumnus, class of  '06. She was a 3-year member of the Color Guard. She is currently the Color Guard instructor and has been for 9 years. Mr. and Mrs. Schneider have twin sons, Benjamin and Jacob.
