About Us
The Polar Bear Band has proudly represented Fairmont Senior High School and its traditions for many years. The band is considered the heart of Fairmont Senior and an embodiment of Polar Bear Pride. It and its contributors strive to create an environment for high school students to develop as students, as musicians, and as people. The principles of the Polar Bear Band are exhibited through a vast curriculum of marching band, concert band, jazz ensemble, and percussion ensemble. Under the current director, John Schneider, the band has received national attention and won many accolades.

3rd Round Playoff Game
Saturday, December 7th at 1:30pm
The Polar Bears will face off against Bridgeport. Students will report to WFMS at 12:30pm

Christmas Concert
Thursday, December 12 at 6:30pm
Students will meet at the FSHS Band Room at 6:00pm
​
Fairmont Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 14
Students will meet at MVB Bank at 4pm. Parade starts at 5:00pm and will end at Palatine Park.

Rivesville Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 21
Students will meet at FSHS Band Room at 2:30pm to ride buses to Rivesville School to line up for the Parade. Parade starts at 4:00pm and will end at the Fire Department. Students will return to FSHS following the parade.
